Position: Logistics Coordinator / Material Handler
Location: Paris, ON
Shift: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Salary: $21 - $23 per hour

Responsibilities
Attend daily production and shipping meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
• Schedule shipments with couriers and LTL carriers for on-time delivery.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and courier labels.
• Provide reports on all Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
• Accurately prepare customs documentation, understanding HS Tariffs and Country of Origin regulations.
• Work with Project Managers and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to ensure all custom information is provided.
• Continually update PMs and CSRs on shipping activity.
• Provide timely freight quotes and update freight costs in the Pace system.
• Pull BOLs or shipping labels from various systems.
• Ensure skids and packages are secure and ready to ship.
• Make delivery appointments as necessary and advise carriers of pickup times.
• Generate packing slips within the ERP system.
• Use a forklift to move raw materials and finished products between departments to maintain the flow of production.
• Load, unload, and move skids using the forklift.
• Store materials in appropriate areas within the warehouse.
• Build boxes and crates to protect products during shipping.
• Scan and load packed crates and products onto shunt trucks.
• Fulfill orders by packaging materials and preparing them for shipment.
• Provide materials to packers as needed.
• Keep the packaging area clean, tidy, and free of clutter.
• Operate power tools such as a chop saw, pneumatic nail guns, and measuring equipment.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid forklift license is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Material Handler, or a similar role in a manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Experience with operating power tools is a plus.
