As a Logistics Administrator, your day-to-day will involve high-level coordination using in-house systems and managing the critical communication between internal fleet, schedulers and production. This is an opportunity to work for a large well known organization.

Advantages
• Competitive compensation package of $25-$28 per hour.
• 3 week contract
• Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 5pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm
• 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities
• Managing the operations of our inhouse fleet, including maintenance, & working with onsite carriers on planning deliveries.
• Working with the Production Team when last minute schedule changes occur to ensure that we have enough trailers to load.
• Working with the Customer Service Team on any changes to customers deliveries/issues with deliveries.
• Communicating with other carriers to ensure they drop a trailer in time for production needs.
• Keeping track of all trailers that are loaded/empty & being shipped to customers.
• Creating Proforma’s for any USA deliveries.
• Resolving any logistical issues that may arise during day-to-day operations.
• Working with our shunter to update them on any production schedule changes.
• Using inhouse system – Printing Bill of Ladings / Planning deliveries for the next day.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in using in-house logistics software or ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics is an asset.
• High level of flexibility and the ability to prioritize administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to resolve logistics issues promptly.
