RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (on-site and corporate), external vendors, and local 3PL contractors; handle communications with carriers.
- Daily Operations & Issue Resolution: Implement and audit loading/unloading plans, yard trailer inventory (inbound and outbound), resolve and update issues via tools SharePoint ticketing, Yardview and SAP, and manage data errors. Validate the weekly plan (local and across the network), shipping issues, customer requests via Customer Fulfillment Team and resolve all issues daily to ensure the plan is met appropriately and we exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Inventory Management: Utilize inventory reports, production schedules, and FIFO/aged inventory controls, ensure accurate bin/buffer zone tracking, and validate all vs the weekly/monthly shipping plans.
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Manage plan data and update daily to missed/lost opportunities. Work to validate status of all missed shipments from prior days and prepare the ongoing plan for the week.
- Data Monitoring & Reporting: Create KPI and monitoring reports, validate shipments, address system errors, and ensure all documentation (e.g., CID routes, PGI/IT validations) is accurate and up to date. Coordinate missed shipment database with accurate descriptions daily. Proactively validate inventory/production schedule vs open orders to ensure we have accurate shipping/requested dates in the system for all created shipments.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHS
- Understanding of BOLs, manifests, COAs/SDS for materials.
- Team collaborator with production, corporate Logistics and warehouse.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage logistics issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong scheduling skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Attention to detail, accuracy with shipping documents and error resolution
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, corrugated or packaging experience highly desirable.
- Continuous improvement experience is an asset.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of logistics scheduling planning and customer service required.
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS365, PowerBI and SAP is highly desirable.
