Freight Management: Efficiently load and unload LTL freight utilizing a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Trailer Optimization: Strategically cube out trailers, ensuring perfect weight distribution and secure transport.
Cross-Dock Flow: Maintain a seamless, organized flow of inventory across a busy dock floor.
Autonomous Execution: Take ownership of daily floor operations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Safety & Quality: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to ensure damage-free freight handling.
Qualifications
Valid, current certification for a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Proven experience in a fast-paced cross-dock or LTL transportation environment (highly preferred).
Exceptional spatial awareness with a strong understanding of trailer configurations.
Self-motivated and reliable with a track record of strong attendance and independent productivity.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock.
Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
1–2 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility gear.
