Your Role
As a Machine Production Assistant, you will be the "right hand" to our Lead Machine Operators. You will play a crucial role in maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting operators with machine setup, material feeding, and changeovers.
Monitoring equipment to ensure smooth operation and high-quality output.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to meet safety standards.
Learning the technical nuances of plastic manufacturing to eventually take on more responsibility.
What You Bring
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Attitude: A strong willingness to learn and a "team-first" mentality.
Reliability: Punctuality is key for our 7:00 AM production start.
Safety-First Mindset: A commitment to following all PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
-Following the required company SOP’s, Procedures and Health & Safety Standards in order to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
-Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment to extrusion operator/team lead.
-Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with production team leader/ operators
-Carrying out other associated duties as directed by Management and the Production Team Leader
-Ensure that all materials are handled, sorted and used in accordance with Work Place Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHIMIS).
-Palletize all products as needed
-Ensuring PPE is worn always necessary
Qualifications
Qualifications we would like to see:
-6 months or more of experience in a manufacturing setting
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
-Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
