Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $20/hr to start
Shifts Available: Nights and Afternoon shifts
afternoons (3pm - 11pm) and nights (11pm-7am)

Responsibilities
• Maintain continuous operation of machines to produce quality parts.
• Operate machine, turn on/off, and adjust as required, while validating process gauges.
• Load parts into machines/furnaces, ensuring proper orientation and location.
• Monitor machine operation to detect and report any errors or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Unload machines and visually inspect parts to assess their quality.
• Pack parts according to specific instructions.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including trend charts, in-process and first-off inspections, and production tracking.
• Effectively communicate any visual or dimensional defects.
• Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining 5S standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, including safety checks before each shift.
• Identify and implement more effective and efficient means to complete assigned tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and demonstrate environmental awareness.
• Work in compliance with all relevant Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures.
• Collect, report, and act on performance measures of the manufacturing area.
• Assist in the training and development of new team members.
• Perform various functions and assist in other areas as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and precision in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate and monitor machinery effectively and safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to detect issues and malfunctions.
• Proficient in completing and maintaining accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with the team.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with quality control standards (e.g., IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
• Ability to follow instructions and work in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist in training others.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform tasks in a manufacturing and logistics environment.
• Adaptability to perform various functions and assist in different areas.
• A solid understanding of industrial management principles is a plus.
