What You Need to Know:
Position: Temporary to Permanent
Role: Machine Operator
Location: Surrey, BC
Pay Rate: $21.50
Monday to Friday: 2pm to 12am
Candidates with access to a vehicle are preferred, as public transit will not be in service after midnight.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to commit to full-time hours
Previous experience in food production is a strong asset

Responsibilities
• Set up and Pre-operative Checks: Conduct thorough pre-operative checks of machinery before
production starts to ensure readiness.
• Machine Operation & Troubleshooting: Operate machinery efficiently, troubleshoot and effectively
resolve issues that arise, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maximize Uptime: Maximize operational uptime on seasoning and packaging equipment for designated
lines.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately document and record materials consumed, and products
produced (up to 6 different records).
• Adherence to GMPs: Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Inter-departmental Communication: Communicate effectively with maintenance and shipping/receiving
departments as necessary.
• Monitor CCPs: Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) diligently.
• Timely Changeovers: Ensure product changeovers are completed in a timely manner.
• Replenish Seasoning: Replenish seasoning into the flavoring machine as needed.
• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisors or Lead Hands.
Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machines.
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced work environment.
• 2+ years of production experience.
• Must be able to comfortably lift up-to 50lbs.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
• Ability to work well with others and foster a positive relationship with peers.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are considered an asset.
