Position: Machine Operator
Location: Paris, ON
Continental Shift Schedule - 7AM to 7PM
Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
Week 2 - Sun, Wed, Thurs
Pay: $23/hr
*Must have access to reliable personal transportation, as the location is not serviced by public transit.
Advantages

• Comprehensive on-the-job training provided for all specialized printing and cutting machinery.
• Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety glasses.
Responsibilities
• Load raw materials such as vinyl, acrylic, and signboards into machines safely and efficiently.
• Set up, calibrate, and start machines including Kronsberg, Icut, panel saws, and vinyl applicators.
• Stand and monitor machine operations during print, cut, and finishing runs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, workstation cleaning, and site sanitation while waiting for print and cut cycles to complete.
• Carefully unload finished print and cutout materials from the machine beds.
• Roll, bundle, and package finished signage for retail distribution according to specifications.
• Follow all company health and safety guidelines, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and report daily progress directly to the production supervisor.
Qualifications
• Previous hands-on experience operating an Icut machine or a solid background in print/sign production.
• Demonstrated experience working with materials such as vinyl, acrylic, and composite boards.
• Basic computer skills and technical literacy.
• Must possess CSA-approved safety shoes/boots (other required PPE provided by company).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive loading and unloading tasks.
• Capability to lift light materials (<30 lbs) consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Access to reliable personal transportation, as the location is not serviced by public transit.
