Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth production flow and high manufacturing efficiencies.
• Perform routine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in a safe and clean manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, operating manuals, and production schedules accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet exact specifications and client standards.
• Identify potential operational or maintenance issues early and report or resolve them to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace adhering strictly to occupational health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, shift leads, and maintenance personnel across both afternoon and night shifts.
• Accurately record production data, output logs, and equipment maintenance notes during each shift.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Worker, or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work either the afternoon shift or night shift consistently.
• Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards.
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
