Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate plastic injection molding machinery to ensure optimal efficiency during production runs.
- Manage materials, including loading raw plastic resins and handling finished molded products.
- Conduct quality checks on molded parts to guarantee they meet strict client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment by identifying mechanical issues early and performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Document manufacturing data, accurately tracking production metrics, scrap rates, and equipment downtime.
- Prioritize workplace safety by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Adapt to facility needs by executing other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and solid problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive willingness to learn, accept direction, and pursue long-term advancement within the company.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machinery issues.
