Responsibilities
Safely operate manufacturing machinery and equipment to meet daily production targets.
Conduct continuous monitoring of machines, perform routine quality checks, and meticulously inspect finished products.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults, clear equipment jams, and perform basic preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate production logs, track output, and provide detailed handover reports to the next shift supervisor.
Keep the workstation clean and strictly adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Extensive experience as a Machine Operator within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or fast-paced production environment.
Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license (Strictly required to access sites across Nisku, St. Albert, and Fort Saskatchewan, especially during rotational hours).
Flexibility and willingness to work 12-hour rotational shifts, seamlessly transitioning between day and evening schedules.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read production orders and technical manuals.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity, including the ability to stand for long shifts and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
