Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate yard machinery and heavy equipment (training provided)
- Use a pipe stripping lathe to remove coatings from materials
- Operate a pipe cutting band saw or torch cutter for material preparation
- Assist with load securement in accordance with company safety standards
- Maintain yard cleanliness and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet delivery and project timelines
- Participate in all mandatory safety training and compliance programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Steel-toe boots required (additional PPE provided)
- 2+ years of machine operation or heavy labour experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience using a pipe stripping lathe is highly desirable
- Skilled in operating a pipe cutting band saw or torch cutting equipment
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and machinery
- Physically able to lift heavy materials, bend, reach, and climb as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to collaborate effectively with a team
