Role Overview: In these roles, you will support the production of essential components by operating fabrication equipment and ensuring quality standards are met. These positions are designed as contract-to-permanent pathways, offering you the chance to join our client's internal team after an initial period.
What We Offer:
Location: Milton, ON.
Schedule: Stable Monday to Friday shifts

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/hr (Based on the different machines and experience)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in machine operation environment.

Responsibilities
Safely operate fabrication machinery (shearing, punching, and bending) and batch making, production machines following training and standardized procedures.
Complete daily pre-start safety inspections of equipment and report any operational concerns to supervisors.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and ensure all safety guards and interlocks are fully functional.
Utilize manufacturing software and digital drawing vaults to access and interpret production blueprints and sketches.
Set up machine sequences, determine material feed requirements, and manage the flow of parts through the equipment.
Monitor machine performance to prevent jams, clear blockages, and ensure proper lubrication of materials.
Organize and tag completed orders accurately for routing to the next production stage.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace while assisting with other production duties as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of experience operating batch making, production, fabrication machinery (such as shearing, punching, or bending equipment).
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Local residency within 70 km of Milton, ON.
Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, layouts, and manufacturing blueprints.
Proficiency with digital tools and basic computer applications, including MS Office.
Proven track record of working safely and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
