Responsibilities
Safe Machine Operation: Run fabrication gear, including shearing, punching, and bending equipment.
Pre-Start Checks: Perform daily safety inspections and verify machine guards/interlocks.
Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret production drawings and digital sketches using manufacturing software.
Production Setup: Configure machine sequences and material feeds for optimal output flow.
Troubleshooting & Care: Clear jams, manage lubrication, and proactively fix minor equipment issues.
Workspace Upkeep: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards while assisting the team.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate
Experience: 1+ years operating production, fabrication, or batch-making machinery
Location: Local residency within 50 km of Milton, ON
Technical Skills: Ability to read basic blueprints and layouts; proficient in MS Office
Work Style: Strong safety mindset with proven multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
