Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Safely set up and operate shearing, punching, and bending machinery.
Pre-Start Checks: Perform daily equipment inspections and verify safety interlocks.
Maintenance & Lubrication: Execute routine servicing and daily lubrication to keep machines running smoothly.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret production drawings, blueprints, and software sketches accurately.
Production Setup: Configure precise machine settings and manage raw material feeds.
Troubleshooting: Quickly clear jams and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Workspace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: 1+ years running production, fabrication, or batch-making machinery
Location: Based within 50 km of Milton, ON
Technical Skills: Ability to read basic blueprints and use MS Office
Attributes: Strong safety mindset with proven success multitasking in fast-paced setups
