In this full-time Machine Operator role, you will work a desirable day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Responsibilities
• Safely operate and monitor various department machine centers, including CNC machines, clam machines, riveters, punches, FBM, HRT, and guillotines.
• Perform precise setups and adjustments on specialized production machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product output.
• Package, assemble, and bundle finished products according to customer specifications, quality benchmarks, and job orders.
• Conduct regular quality control checks and visual inspections throughout the production cycle to detect defects and maintain high standards.
• Assist shift supervisors and lead operators with daily workflow, department objectives, and specialized manufacturing tasks.
• Accurately sign in and out of the digital production data entry system to track job progress, shift hours, and material usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with corporate safety guidelines and industrial manufacturing standards.
• Perform routine troubleshooting, minor equipment adjustments, and other operational duties as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in an industrial manufacturing or production facility environment.
• At least 1 year of direct experience operating or working with CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machinery.
• High school diploma, secondary school graduation certificate, or equivalent educational background required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong desire to learn new technical skills and actively participate in comprehensive, in-house machinery training programs.
• Familiarity or experience with robotics, automated equipment, or advanced manufacturing systems is considered a strong asset.
• Must currently reside in the Vancouver Lower Mainland or Fraser Valley area and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
