Role Overview: In these roles, you will support the production of essential components by operating fabrication equipment and ensuring quality standards are met. These positions are designed as contract-to-permanent pathways, offering you the chance to join our client's internal team after an initial period.
What We Offer:
Location: Niagara Area (St. Catharines/ Welland/ Niagara Falls).
Schedule: Consistent Monday to Friday shifts.
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00/hr (Based on machine type and experience).
Growth: Direct transition from Randstad associate to permanent team member.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in machine operation or a production environment.
Availability for a stable afternoon shift schedule.
Strong focus on workplace safety and detail-oriented work.
Motivation to learn new manufacturing technologies and processes.

Responsibilities
Safely operate specialized fabrication equipment, including shearing, punching, and bending machinery.
Conduct daily safety checks and equipment inspections to ensure a high-standard work environment.
Perform basic preventative maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly and efficiently.
Configure machine settings and manage material flow to ensure precise part fabrication.
Support overall production goals by maintaining an organized workspace and assisting with various team tasks.
Qualifications
At least one year of hands-on experience with fabrication equipment (shearing, punching, or bending).
Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings, blueprints, or production layouts.
Comfortable using computers and basic software, such as MS Office, for daily tasks.
Proven ability to work safely and stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
