We are currently looking for 1 person to work on days and 2 people to work on afternoons.
Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am to3:15pm
Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 3pm to 1:30am
*Please note this is NOT a rotating shift, you will either work on STRAIGHT days or afternoons
Location: St. Thomas
Payrate: $33-37/hour

Responsibilities
- Manufacture, modify and repair precision tools, jigs, fixtures according to specifications, blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Interact with CAD specialist/Toolmakers to refurbish/improve/build spares
- Program/Run CNC code from provided CAD data using Mastercam
- Prepare and load/set up the raw material or die sections in the machine
- Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including, but not limited to, grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes
- Maintain equipment by completing PMs and calling for repair if required
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical and operational issues
Qualifications
- Licensed Machinist and/or Tool and Die Maker
- 2-5 years of previous work experience in a custom machining shop
- Proficient reading blueprints and sketches
- Experience with 3/5 axis CNC operation and programming
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Mastercam or Edgecam and AutoCAD software
- Proficient with Okuma, Siemens and Heidenheim CNC controls
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
