- Hours of operation: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities
Prepare mail and packages for external shipment using common mail services including fax, air express, freight and postal services.
Receive, sort and process mail documents, packages, and supplies.
Notify recipients.
Record & process accountable mail information, maintain logs.
Determine output packaging per packaging standards.
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Perform quality checks on outbound mail.
Perform electronic mail distribution (open, mail prep, scan and distribute).
Follow mailroom security procedures.
Deliver and pick-up mail on scheduled runs.
Track, trace, and resolve mail problems or concerns.
Monitor/order/replenish supplies inventory.
Qualifications
Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Good communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated.
Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform duties with minimal supervision.
6 months to 1 year experience in a professional working environment.
Experience in a client-facing environment.
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
