The Mail Distribution Clerk is a dual-role position responsible for operating high-speed mail production machinery with precision and accuracy, while also supporting mail and distribution functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow strict guidelines to ensure client requirements and service commitments are consistently met.

Must be required to lift and move mail trays, boxes, and other materials (up to 20lbs).
May require extended standing or walking.

Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production equipment to process daily client jobs with 100% accuracy and efficiency.
- Set up machines according to job specifications and ensure proper materials are available for production.
- Receive, sort, distribute, and dispatch internal and external mail, reports, courier packages, and bulk shipments for clients and internal departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and parcels to designated recipients and areas.
- Operate scanning equipment (e.g., I-Tracker) to track mail and complete daily logs/statistics.
- Maintain quality control and adhere to service-level agreements.
- Assist in handling high-volume days, staff absences, and vacation coverage.
- Provide backup support in the absence of the Workflow Coordinator.
- Cross-train and provide support across multiple client accounts as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in machine operation and/or mail distribution preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with tracking/logging tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
