Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, automation, and control systems on production equipment
Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, vision systems, motors, relays, drives, switches, and industrial networks
Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems and automated manufacturing equipment
Support robotic systems including ABB, Fanuc, and Panasonic robots for fault recovery, repairs, and program adjustments
Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and power distribution systems for manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot presses, conveyors, robotic cells, CNC equipment, injection molding machines, and automated assembly lines
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical drawings
Support continuous improvement projects focused on automation, efficiency, uptime, and safety
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
Maintain maintenance documentation, work orders, and compliance with safety standards and plant procedures
Qualifications
Valid 442A Industrial Electrician license required
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience within manufacturing environments
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial or automotive manufacturing
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, robotics, automation systems, and industrial controls
Ability to troubleshoot ABB, Fanuc, and/or Panasonic robotic systems
Strong understanding of sensors, vision systems, relays, motors, drives, and industrial electrical components
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems considered a strong asset
Comfortable working in high-volume automated manufacturing environments
Ability to work independently in fast-paced production settings
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
