Responsibilities
Troubleshoot & Repair: Monitor automated production machinery, rapidly responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
General Maintenance: Perform machinery repairs, routine preventative maintenance, and general shop floor upkeep.
Tooling Maintenance: Handle dressing and sharpening of equipment parts.
Setup & Operation: Assist with press set-up activities and perform both manual and automated assembly machine work.
Welding: Perform MIG welding as needed to repair or modify shop equipment (formal certification is not required).
Production Support: Coordinate the packing and stacking of finished products when required to keep operations fluid.

Qualifications
Automated Equipment Savvy: A strong understanding of automated machinery and the ability to confidently diagnose mechanical issues during a breakdown.
Hands-on Machining & Fabrication Skills: Experience with MIG welding is required. Knowledge of operating a VMC (Vertical Machining Center), CNC wire forming machinery, and Laser Cutters is highly desirable.
Adaptability: Someone who enjoys a varied workday—moving from high-tech troubleshooting to hands-on fabrication or general shop support.
Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and perform light to medium-level lifting.
