Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure plant safety.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
Build, modify, and upgrade equipment to support new products and evolving production needs.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for repairs, installations, and system upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
Operate shop and material-handling equipment such as forklifts, lathes, saws, and machine tools when required.
Train production staff on routine maintenance procedures and best practices.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
Licensed Millwright or equivalent trade certification preferred (electrical and mechanical maintenance experience strongly valued).
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally within ISO or OHSAS-regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and power transmission systems.
Experience with machine shop equipment, pipefitting, and basic fabrication.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings; familiarity with PLCs and AutoCAD is an asset.
Forklift or scissor lift certification is a plus.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead small projects or provide direction to junior staff.
