Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance on all company equipment and facilities.
• Plan, implement, and review a preventative maintenance program.
• Manage recycling and liquid waste materials according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with and direct outside contractors when necessary.
• Assist with janitorial duties and general shop cleanup as required.
Qualifications
• Possession of a valid provincial or inter-provincial trade ticket (e.g., Millwright, Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Pipefitter), or an equivalent ticket from another country.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to safely set up and operate various shop equipment.
• Experience operating a forklift and performing carpentry work is considered an asset.
• Proven ability to work safely and effectively with limited supervision.
