Responsibilities
Customer Invoicing (90% of role): Manage the full invoicing cycle with the goal of posting revenue within 24 hours of a vehicle entering the shop.
Maintenance Coordination: Utilize your understanding of heavy-duty parts, labor, and standard repair times to accurately process work orders.
Payroll Support: Process mechanics' time cards and ensure accurate data entry for payroll.
Financial Administration: Support accounts payable data entry and assist with general month-end reporting
Shop Support: Interact with technicians and manage physical paper forms in a highly manual, detail-driven workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance shop environment is required. Backgrounds in heavy-duty trucking or commercial truck dealerships are highly preferred
- A solid grasp of shop fundamentals, including parts, labor sections, and repair time standards
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems. You will initially work in Keystone and assist with the transition to a new system, Karmak
- Fluent in English. While not required, bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset as many of our mechanics are native French speakers
