Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of millwrights, electricians, and maintenance staff.
Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and fast-response repairs to minimize downtime.
Use a CMMS to schedule work, track performance, and manage spare parts.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues and support new equipment installs.
Partner with production to identify upgrades and cost-saving opportunities while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright (433A) and/or Industrial Electrician (442A or 309A) strongly preferred.
College diploma, technical degree, or relevant engineering background an asset.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency with CMMS software, MS Office Suite, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively across departments.
Solid understanding of Ontario health & safety regulations and best practices.
