You will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with safety standards and preventative maintenance systems. This includes both emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during planned service periods.

Responsibilities
-Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues during breakdowns
-Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs during production
-Perform scheduled maintenance during machine downtime
-Assist all departments with equipment breakdowns and repairs
-Inspect machinery and identify malfunctions or inefficiencies
-Repair or replace components, including fuses, relays, motors, pumps, and starters
-Use tools such as voltmeters, welders, and hand tools effectively
-Troubleshoot faulty electrical circuits and systems
-Assist with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new installations
-Fabricate or modify equipment to support production needs
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
-Follow all health & safety regulations and procedures
-Perform basic facility maintenance tasks
-Complete all other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
-Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Experience working with mechanical and basic electrical systems
-Ability to read and interpret basic schematics (asset)
-Team player with strong communication skills
-Safety-focused mindset
-Ability to lift to 50 lbs
-Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
-Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work extended periods
-Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial conditions
