What you’ll do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Conduct equipment inspections and complete repairs, adjustments, and upgrades.
- Maintain plant utilities including boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, and lift trucks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Document maintenance activities using a CMMS.Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Your strengths as a Maintenance Technician
You are a natural fit for this role if:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Technical training or certification is an asset.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, sensors, and VFDs is preferred.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
