Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and implement effective corrective solutions
Align, calibrate, and adjust machinery or equipment components to ensure optimal performance
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to support maintenance and installation
Inspect equipment and systems for wear, damage, or potential failure points
Perform mechanical and minor electrical repairs as required
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to support plant performance
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and industry regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment condition
Qualifications
Completion of a maintenance, mechanical, or industrial technician program (Red Seal Millwright, Electrician, or equivalent experience is an asset)
Demonstrated experience performing maintenance in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems
Familiarity with automated equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery is an asset
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, drawings, and blueprints
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to workplace safety
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Legally eligible to work full-time in British Columbia
