The Details:
Location: South Edmonton, AB
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $36.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities
Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Utilize drill presses and other shop equipment for secondary operations.
Perform occasional setup and operation of CNC machinery as required by production needs.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to ensure they meet stringent tolerance requirements.
Qualifications
Must be a skilled Manual Machinist with verifiable experience in a machine shop environment.
Strong knowledge of shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.), and blueprint reading.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with CNC operation is considered an asset, though the primary focus of this role is manual machining.
Proven track record of reliability and safety-conscious work habits.
