Position Overview
We are actively hiring an experienced Manual Machinist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with manual mills and lathes, along with a sharp eye for quality and the ability to interpret detailed technical drawings to produce tight-tolerance parts.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual milling and turning machines in a production or custom environment
Read and follow complex engineering drawings and technical specs
Use micrometers, calipers, and other tools to inspect precision dimensions
Determine and apply correct feeds, speeds, and tooling for each task
Carry out machine upkeep and maintain clean, organized workstations
Collaborate with fellow machinists and shop staff to meet job deadlines
Accurately record work performed and materials used
Follow safety policies and help maintain a hazard-free workspace
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience operating manual lathes/mills in a fabrication or repair shop
Comfortable using measuring devices such as bore gauges, dial indicators, and micrometers
In-depth knowledge of material machining characteristics and tolerances
Able to read, understand, and apply blueprints and schematics
Detail-oriented with a strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
Self-driven with the ability to manage tasks independently
Journeyman Machinist certification is a plus but not essential
