• Read and carefully interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up and efficiently operate mill and/or lathe equipment.
• Measure and inspect components using precision tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Manufacture and expertly repair precision aerospace components to required tolerances and specifications.
• Troubleshoot various machining setups and proactively support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements strictly.
Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Thorough knowledge of various manufacturing processes, tooling, and fabrication methods.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented and learning-based culture.
• Demonstrated, practical experience in reading blueprints and utilizing precision measuring tools.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
• The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and securely stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must successfully submit to a thorough reliability screening, which includes providing fingerprints, as well as passing a criminal and credit check.
• Preferred qualifications include a formal trade certification and previous machining, manufacturing, aerospace, or MRO experience.
