You will be the technical vanguard for global manufacturing initiatives, ensuring a competitive advantage through process optimization and innovation. You will manage a team of engineers and technicians, standardizing best practices across multiple international facilities.

Responsibilities
Global Launch Leadership: Act as the project lead for new product launches, ensuring all timing, cost, and quality KPIs are met globally.
Technical SME: Serve as the global lead for CNC machining, assembly, and die-casting process development.
APQP & Standardization: Develop and maintain APQP documentation and ensure all new launches adhere to rigorous global standards.
Operational Excellence: Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement permanent corrective actions for complex production issues.
Sustainability: Champion energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for major OEMs, suppliers, and internal global leadership.
Team Management: Supervise, train, and manage the performance of engineering and technical staff.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: 5–10 years of engineering/manufacturing experience within the automotive industry.
Mobility: Ability to travel globally up to 25%+ (including potential temporary relocation for launch support).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree: Master’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Metallurgical Engineering.
Technical Depth: 3+ years of specific experience with die-casting processes.
Software: Proficiency in engineering software (CFD, CAD/CAM).
Personal Competencies:
Proven leadership in global launch programs and technology development.
Strong background in secondary operations and assembly.
Expertise in Project Management, Quality standards, and Health & Safety.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to coach/motivate cross-functional teams.
