In this Manufacturing Engineering Specialist role, you will be the primary technical authority for plant programs within the manufacturing facility. Your expertise will be focused on the maintenance and advancement of high-tech stamping equipment, including Transfer Presses, Blanking Presses, Hot Stamping Robotic Transfer Presses, 5-axis Laser Cutting Cells, and Real-Time Monitoring Systems. This is a comprehensive role where you will manage the lifecycle of equipment—from initial design and procurement to installation and full-scale production.
In this role, you will be expected to drive efficiencies and challenge the status quo. You are someone who enjoys the autonomy of managing complex machinery and implementing alternative methods to improve productivity.

Responsibilities
• Identify and drive continuous improvement plans to ensure overall equipment performance across quality, health and safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, implementing effective countermeasures and long-term improvements.
• Engage with the Engineering and Management team to prioritize work across all stages, from R&D to final manufacturing.
• Investigate, research, and propose cost-effective equipment modifications to improve machine reliability and throughput.
• Write detailed technical specifications for the procurement of new equipment, tooling, and utilities.
• Lead the design, construction, acceptance testing, and installation phases for equipment and tooling.
• Define and optimize operating process parameters for specialized equipment and tooling.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation, including spare parts lists, PM schedules, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support the manufacturing of prototype parts and communicate critical lessons learned to the broader team.
Qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on expertise in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting (minimum 3 years).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Intermediate level required).
• Commitment to continuous growth and adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
