Core Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Routing: Execute scheduled inspection routes to gather data on rotating and stationary equipment using vibration sensors, thermal cameras, and oil sampling tools.
- Condition Monitoring: Use the "Big Three" technologies to assess machine health:
- Vibration Analysis: Detect mechanical issues like unbalance, bearing wear, or misalignment.
- Infrared Thermography: Identify "hot spots" in electrical panels or mechanical friction in bearings.
- Lubrication/Oil Analysis: Collect and analyze oil samples to check for contamination and internal component degradation.
- Precision Maintenance: Perform or oversee laser alignment of shafts and dynamic balancing of fans and spindles to reduce machine stress.
- Reporting & Analysis: Interpret data trends to generate technical reports for management, specifically identifying required corrective actions.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate recurring failures to eliminate defects and improve overall plant reliability.

Respect your true nature by putting forward your strengths:
- Experience: Typically requires 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical trade.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history.
- Certifications: Often requires or prefers ISO-standard certifications, such as Vibration Analyst Category I/II or Level I Infrared Thermography.
- Physical Demands : Ability to work in extreme temperatures, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment (often up to 50–60 lbs).
