Material Handler - Brantford

Day Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm ($21/hr)


Pay: $21.00/hr

Advantages
Transportation: The site is bus route accessible, except for shifts starting/ending on Sundays or starting before 7:00 am.

Gear: All specialized freezer PPE is provided, though employees are encouraged to dress warmly for cold environments.

Commitment: This is a long-term position with the client's intent to hire on successful candidates.

Responsibilities
This is a 70/30 split role. You will spend 70% of your time on manual order picking/repetitive labour and 30% operating a Crown Reach forklift.

Forklift Assessment: All candidates must pass a practical test on a Crown Reach forklift (scheduled during the week).

Orientation: Held every Friday (8:00 am – 4:00 pm). Once completed, you will move to your regular shift.

Clear Criminal Background: A clear criminal record check is a mandatory requirement for these positions.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Experience: At least 1+ years of Crown Reach experience.

Licensing: Must hold a valid external forklift license (In-house licenses are not accepted).

Cold Storage Experience: Previous experience working in a cold/freezer environment (please specify where on your resume).

Resume: An updated resume clearly highlighting your forklift and warehouse experience.
