Responsibilities
▪ Deliver materials and retrieve material returns from Packaging/Processing air locks.
▪ Operate narrow aisle forklifts.
▪ Assist in the preparation and assembly of outbound shipments.
▪ Repalletize materials for sampling and warehouse storage.
▪ Move materials from the receiving area to the appropriate storage areas of the warehouse.
▪ Prepare and assemble waste and CMRs for destruction.
▪ Sort and deliver non inventory courier shipments and supplies to other departments within Patheon.
▪ Offload inbound receipts and load outbound shipments.
▪ Participate in PPI to continually improve processes.
▪ Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
▪ Perform alternating or rotating shift work.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Valid forklift operation certificate
Ability to multi-task, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle working in a freezer at -20°C for short periods multiple times a day
