We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Stayner. In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse and production operations, ensuring the accurate, efficient, and seamless flow of materials required for manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and inventory management. You will ensure that raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and supplies are received, stored, and distributed in strict compliance with company procedures and Good Production Practices (GPP).
What You’ll Be Doing
Inventory Management & ERP Accuracy
Receive incoming materials, verify documentation (e.g., packing slips, COAs), inspect contents for damage, and enter data accurately into the ERP system.
Label, weigh, and stock raw materials in designated warehouse locations using ERP tools to maintain precise, real-time inventory levels.
Ensure location info, lot numbers, weights, and statuses are flawlessly recorded during all material movements.
Order Fulfillment & Material Staging
Read and interpret production and sales orders to determine required materials and quantities.
Pick materials according to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles, verifying product codes, lot numbers, weights, and expiration dates.
Deliver picked materials to production staging areas or the shipping department, conducting strict accuracy checks prior to hand-off.
Returns, Put-Away, & Documentation
Collect unused/returned materials from production or customers, confirm their condition, lot number, and weight, and return them to inventory (physically and in the ERP).
Perform and document material issues, transfers, and returns using ERP tools and material movement forms in compliance with SOPs.
Cycle Counts & General Warehouse Support
Conduct regular cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with ERP data; participate in year-end physical inventory counts and investigations.
Respond promptly to material requests from production, shipping, or third-party partners.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace compliant with safety and GPP standards.
Your Work Environment
Dynamic Settings: Work in both indoor and outdoor areas, including refrigerated or temperature-controlled zones.
Physical Requirements: Regular physical activity including walking, standing, bending, crouching, pushing, and pulling. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Warehouse Conditions: Exposure to loud noise, dust, and other warehouse environments requiring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

What You’ll Need to Have
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment is preferred.
Skills: Solid understanding of inventory control processes, order picking, and shipping/receiving functions.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience is highly preferred).
Certifications: Valid driver’s license; must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification (training provided if necessary).
Compliance: Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and adhere to internal safety and conduct policies.
Flexibility: Availability to work overtime or weekends on short notice when business needs arise
