In this manufacturing & logistics role, you will perform essential logistics tasks, including picking customer orders, receiving product shipments, and maintaining tight inventory controls. Because our client operates at the highest standards of food safety and quality, you will be interacting daily with raw meat products in a specialized cold-storage warehouse environment (with temperatures reaching down to -20°C).

Position: Permanent
Location: Richmond, BC
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour with scheduled wage increases as per collective agreement
Shifts & Schedules Available:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Sunday to Thursday)

Responsibilities
• Receive incoming product shipments and accurately verify manifest contents against physical inventory.
• Assign, print, and affix proper labeling and tracking barcodes to received warehouse goods when required.
• Operate a pallet jack and/or reach truck forklift safely to pick products to the exact specifications of customer invoices.
• Verify product numbers, batch codes, and quantities precisely before finalizing orders for shipment.
• Wrap, stage, and prepare completed client orders for distribution and transport carrier pickup.
• Count, audit, and restock warehouse products regularly to support precise inventory management standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace across the shipping, receiving, and cold storage areas.
• Execute additional general warehouse and operational support duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Possession of a valid, current forklift operating license or certification.
• Full willingness and comfort working daily with raw meat and various cold food products.
• Ability and readiness to work consistently within a cold-storage warehouse environment of up to -20°C.
• Physical capability to perform lifting, carrying, and moving tasks of objects weighing 30+ lbs safely.
• Dedication to adhering strictly to workplace safety standards, PPE guidelines, and sanitation practices.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is considered an asset, though comprehensive training is provided.
• Legal authorization to work full-time hours in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
