Your primary mission as a Material Handler will be to manage, categorize, and relocate crucial scrap and aircraft engine materials between the main manufacturing facility and a nearby hangar, which is located less than a five-minute drive away. Pay Rate: $29.91/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift TIme: 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM (subject to change to rotating 2 weeks AM and 2 weeks PM based on needs)

For this Delta-based role, candidates must be prepared to navigate a comprehensive compliance and onboarding process. Due to the highly regulated and secure nature of our client's aerospace operations, successful candidates must complete a basic computer and administrative skills assessment, as well as clear an Export Compliance and Controlled Goods security screening prior to their start date.

Responsibilities
• Categorize, sort, and organize complex scrap materials and engine components to prepare them for processing and downstream logistics.
• Safely drive your reliable personal vehicle to commute between the main manufacturing facility and the nearby hangar to perform material handling duties at both sites.
• Safely operate essential material handling equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks as well as Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) and Stand-Up Counterbalance (SUCB) forklifts, to move goods within the buildings.
• Update tracking sheets, manage daily emails, and utilize the SAP ERP system to accurately document and track material movements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse workspace in compliance with strict manufacturing & logistics safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with team members and logistics supervisors to meet daily material processing and sortation targets.
• Participate in daily shift handovers and safety briefings to maintain operational alignment across the team.
Qualifications
• Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and a valid British Columbia Driver’s License, essential for daily transit between the main facility and the hangar.
• Prior experience or certification operating Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) and Stand-Up Counterbalance (SUCB) forklifts is highly preferred.
• Comfort utilizing computers daily for data entry, emailing, and database navigation.
• Physical stamina and capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift industrial materials throughout a standard 8-hour shift.
• Successful completion of a basic computer and administrative skills assessment.
• Ability to pass Export Compliance and Controlled Goods Clearance, which requires providing a SIN Card/Letter, a valid Passport, and a Driver’s License.
