As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role within the manufacturing and logistics ecosystem. The primary focus of the Material Handler is to ensure the seamless movement, verification, and control of raw materials and finished goods throughout the plant. Working under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful Material Handler will support both production lines and overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities
• Pick and stage raw materials from the warehouse and finished goods for production lines and inter-company transfers.
• Pre-weigh and stage partial quantities of raw materials for pre-blends according to strict manufacturing specifications.
• Receive, verify, and log raw materials and finished goods returned from production areas.
• Ensure accuracy of material weights and verify that all lot numbers are correctly labeled before returning items to storage.
• Record all picked and returned materials accurately on the warehouse staging and return log sheets.
• Perform routine cycle counts and participate in scheduled inventories of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Receive inbound products against packing slips, generating and affixing proper warehouse tracking labels.
• Complete receiving transactions accurately within the JDE computer system and locate or record materials in their proper storage areas.
• Inspect and repair damaged containers for both finished goods and raw materials, repackaging them properly when necessary.
• Pick finished goods for upcoming customer orders, handle repack requests, bagging, and safely load or unload shipping trailers.
• Provide reliable coverage in the pigment control department during vacation periods, absences, or operational surges.
• Provide administrative and operational support for preparing samples and verifying back weigh-ups as directed.
• Collaborate proactively with other departments to ensure a safe, courteous, and productive plant operation.
• Adhere strictly to all facility health and safety procedures, reporting all incidents or injuries immediately to management.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating counterbalance forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
• An internal forklift license or external certification valid for both counterbalance and stand-up reach operations is required.
• Proven physical capability to stand for extended periods of 6 to 8 hours per shift.
• Capability to execute repetitive lifting of materials weighing up to 25 kg safely and consistently.
• comfort level with weighing, blending, and processing raw chemical or plastic materials.
• A reliable attendance history and a track record of punctuality in previous industrial roles.
