This role is 25% Forklift and 75% Manual Laborer
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (May 20th to May 23rd)
Shifts: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Starting wage: $22

Responsibilities
As the Material Handler, duties include but are not limited to:
- Load/unload trucks, trailers, containers – sometimes by forklift, sometimes by hand – stacking on skids
- Pick, pack, sort, put away stock using a forklift, picker, or clamp truck, ensuring that there are minimal errors
- Keep shipping/receiving areas clean & organized
- Assist with Inventory counts as required
- Work safely and abide by OH&S standards/requirements
- Work the occasional weekend and overtime when needed
- Handle materials safety and follow health and safety codes
- Work with a team to meet deadlines
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following qualifications:
-Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
-Previous experience in a warehouse environment, and are comfortable operating various types of machinery
-Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1year of warehousing experience
-Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
-No physical limitations, can lift 50 pound comfortably and manually lift tires
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy including mathematical aptitude
-Able to pick and put away product as much as 18 feet high
-Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities on a daily basis
-Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and work with tight deadlines
-Results-driven team player who will foster a positive teamwork environment
-Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
-Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
-Steel toe boots and a Covid friendly face mask will be mandatory
