Responsibilities
Logistics & Material Handling
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move finished goods, raw materials (including resin deliveries), and various items both inside and outside the plant.
Ensure all finished products are accurately labeled, packaged, and stored according to established procedures.
Manage inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation system. (work 2 shifts during day's- 2 day's off- 2 shifts at nights ext.)
Properly load and unload trailers, inspecting them thoroughly for cleanliness and safety (e.g., no holes or heavy odors) before loading.
Apply the correct load bar procedures and ensure all required paperwork and digital spreadsheets are fully and accurately completed.
Liaise professionally with all delivery drivers.
Safety & Quality Control
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hygiene, and Housekeeping standards.
Inspect and return pallets/totes for inventory and reuse.
Actively identify and report all hazards, near misses, or safety concerns to management immediately.
Monitor product quality during loading; report any noticed defects or issues to the Quality Department or Team Leader.
Report any faults with the forklift truck and diligently record them in the daily log.
Ensure all returned goods are promptly reported to the Quality department and clearly labeled for inspection.
Perform any other duties required to support the management and business needs.
Qualifications
Certification: Current Certified Forklift Operator status with relevant experience is essential.
Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Adaptability: Must be willing and able to work effectively in hot and cold environmental conditions.
Communication: Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions in English.
Teamwork & Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with others while also having the flexibility to give directions as needed.
Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 15 kg overhead.
Work Ethic: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work under pressure, and maintain alertness while performing routine tasks.
