Responsibilities
· Coordinate manufacturing operations through efficient and economic use of facilities, manpower and material to insure timely customer deliveries. Use top level capacity planning through the Sales & Operating Planning tools to define & communicate customer sales forecasts & required shift structures.
· Plans and supervises the inventory control activities (including inventory accuracy, cycle counting & plant physical inventories). Manage inventory levels within established financial guidelines (including production build outs, engineering changes, obsolete/slow moving inventories). Maintain cost & part numbers within corporate proprietary inventory, shipping & financial systems.
Qualifications
University degree in related field
· 5-7 years of related experience within automotive industry with Union background
· Strong interpersonal skills with a results oriented approach.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Superior excel skills
· Experience with System such as SAPO, PASS, COGNOS,
