Responsibilities
• Source and prepare fabric samples for testing.
• Review material testing intake forms and coordinate testing efforts with internal teams.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on selecting appropriate testing methods to achieve their research objectives.
• Conduct a variety of material tests, including thickness, thermal properties, stretch properties, and hand feel evaluations.
• Assist in recruiting participants for material testing when needed.
• Organize test data into structured datasets and perform statistical analyses to identify material differences and correlations.
• Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing processes.
• Present findings and prepare detailed reports summarizing test results for internal teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in materials testing methodologies and statistical data analysis.
• Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Excel, R, or Python).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Previous experience in materials research or testing is a plus.
