The Architect will be responsible for managing all functional and technical aspects of the Maximo solution development, including design, configuration, system interfaces, custom applications, and mobile solutions, while ensuring a high standard of solution quality and overseeing the end-to-end realization from design through go-live. This is a Hybrid role based in Toronto, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week in-person.

Responsibilities
The Maximo Solutions Architect (Maximo SME) will be responsible for:
- Leading both the functional and technical aspects of the Maximo solution development, including design, configuration, custom Maximo applications, and mobile solutions for work management.
- Designing and implementing complex integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and ensuring the solution integrates seamlessly within the client's technology ecosystem and third-party products.
- Providing technical direction and expertise in Maximo Business Objects & Web Beans (Java), Automation Scripts (Java, Python, or other scripting languages), and Maximo Spatial configuration & ArcGis.
- Overseeing the end-to-end realization of the solution, including managing program testing resources, assisting with code promotion to SIT/QA for UAT, and assuring the delivery of a high-quality Maximo product.
- Leading the gathering of business requirements, mapping business processes, and managing the end-to-end process of legacy data conversion, mapping, and migration.
- Overseeing the preparation and execution of test plans, test cases, and scenarios. Tracking problems, defects, and issues, and providing assessments and recommendations on new technology trends to ensure effective use and acquisition.
- Collaborating across divisions to build consensus, drive decision-making, and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 15+ years of demonstrable experience in the design, development, upgrade, documentation, and full life-cycle implementation of Work and Asset Management solutions using IBM Maximo (MAS, Maximo Mobile, and Maximo 7.6.x).
- 12+ years of extensive experience leading large-scale IBM Maximo implementations, covering project delivery, system migrations, upgrades, and major go-lives.
- Strong background in leading development teams, providing technical direction, and supporting all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficient in solution design and post-implementation support for Maximo and Maximo Mobile applications.
- Skilled in gathering business requirements, mapping business processes, designing Maximo-based solutions, and supporting change management initiatives.
- Experienced in legacy data conversion, data mapping, and data migration, managing the process end-to-end.
- Strong involvement in system and application testing, including developing test cases and executing unit/system tests.
- Recognized for excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Capabilities:
- Expertise in Maximo Business Objects & Web Beans (Java) and Automation Scripts (Java, Python or other scripting languages).
- Extensive experience designing and implementing integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Strong knowledge of Maximo Spatial configuration & ArcGis.
