As an MCP Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the MCP operating system and related software products, as well as troubleshooting and resolving system issues. You will work closely with other members of the Enterprise Technical Solutions team to ensure the stability and reliability of MCP systems and applications.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the ClearPath MCP system.
- Provide ongoing, dedicated internal and external support for the Unisys MCP operating system and related applications.
- Execute routine system administration tasks, addressing user issues and resolving system errors.
- Serve as a key resource for the potential development and enhancement of the MCP system.
- Continuously monitor the performance and stability of the MCP operating systems and applications using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Proactively monitor system logs, error reports, and relevant operational data, making recommendations and taking corrective action as needed.
- Execute all routine system maintenance tasks to ensure the system remains up-to-date and fully functional.
- Implementing and verifying robust system backups.
Qualifications
- Reside in Canada with ability to occasionally travel to Toronto and/or Ottawa.
- Well-versed with Unisys ClearPath MCP operating system(Master Control Program).
- Familiarity with Business Continuity Accelerator (BCA).
- Ability to store data in (Dell Unity/PMAX).
- Experience securing MCP-based systems from unauthorized access/threats.
- Experience providing guidance on MCP system configurations.
- Experience supporting and configuring Enterprise servers.
