Responsibilities
• Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly and related tasks under limited supervision, adhering strictly to quality workmanship and company standards.
• Follow moderately detailed assembly procedures and instructions to complete assigned duties.
• Utilize specialized tools and operate power-driven equipment for tasks such as drilling, riveting, inserting parts, cutting, shaping, and crimping components
• Execute detailed wiring tasks, including connecting, wire wrapping, preparing wires (stripping, tinning, twisting), working with shielded wires, and performing solder sleeve assemblies with proper wire identification.
• Operate Go / No go test equipment to ensure the functionality and integrity of assembled units.
• Install and assemble various components, including plates, gaskets, grommets, heatsinks, and sub-assemblies, utilizing appropriate fasteners and/or adhesives.
• Perform basic part making, lacing, and the creation of cable assemblies or wire harnesses as required.
• Operate caulking guns and other application equipment for various materials.
• Accurately mix adhesives, chemical solutions, potting, and coating compounds in precise proportions.
• Maintain and clean containers, applicators, and spray equipment to ensure good working order.
• Build sub-assemblies and perform final integration of system components and product inspection.
Qualifications
• Proven mechanical aptitude with strong experience as an Electromechanical Assembler.
• Ability to accurately follow both written and verbal technical instructions and procedures.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition to manage detailed work.
• Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet production deadlines.
• Experience with measuring tools and precision instruments relevant to Manufacturing Assembly.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time while performing Mechanical Assembler duties.
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
