Responsibilities
Drafting and design of fire suppression, HVAC, and plumbing systems for new buildings and renovations.
Design of HVAC systems, including heat load calculations, equipment selection, and distribution sizing.
Design of fire suppression systems, including hydraulic calculations.
Design of plumbing systems as per the BC Building Code.
Qualifications
1-5 years of experience working as a Mechanical Designer.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
Experience with MS Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
A positive attitude and a strong ambition to learn.
Experience with designing fire suppression systems is considered an asset.
