Responsibilities
Live Broadcast Leadership: Lead studio AV operations, including the expert operation of live switchers, real-time transitions, and graphics for broadcasts and podcasts.
Technical Oversight: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior AV technicians while maintaining strict quality control for all signal outputs.
Executive Support: Facilitate high-priority broadcasts for key spokespeople across MS Teams, Zoom, and professional broadcast networks.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for complex AV/IT signal flow issues and coordinate with building-wide AV teams to ensure zero downtime.
Strategic Advisory: Recommend and implement industry best practices for studio production and control room workflows.
Qualifications
8+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in a broadcast, studio, or high-end corporate AV environment.
Switcher & Control Room Expertise: Mastery of live video switchers, audio mixing boards, studio lighting, and professional camera operation.
Virtual Production Fluency: Extensive experience supporting hybrid events via Zoom and MS Teams with real-time technical troubleshooting.
Signal Flow Mastery: Deep understanding of AV/IT integration and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure.
Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with C-suite leadership.
Nice to Have:
Post-production skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Event photography and digital storytelling experience.
Bilingualism (English/French).
Experience mentoring or training junior technical staff.
